More Debate on Design

Via Digg, a reprint of a Natural History essay debate between our favorite IDiots, Behe, Dembski and Wells and some more level minded evolutionary biologists. The usual arguments from the ID crowd are present, and the usual strong refutations. This is a good read for anyone new to the debate looking for a clear and concise story from both sides.

Whether the responses of the “level minded evolutionary biologists” constitute “strong refutations” is, I suppose, in the eye of the beholder. A lot of folks simply haven’t found the refutations offered to date to be particularly strong. Well, to each his own, freedom of inquiry, and anti-dogmatic freethinking for all seems a reasonable solution. Surely no one could object to that.
