Angry?

Here is a great post by Greta Christina on why some atheist are angry. I have to say I agree with almost all of this.

  1. I also found this post to be very moving and a bit overwhelming. Here’s my #1 reason to be angry (Great touched on it somewhat)

    I am angry that double standards exist when it comes to defending your beliefs. As an atheist, you get to defend your position all the time, but with a believer, questioning their beliefs in public is at the very least socially unacceptable or can even be considered discrimination. If your world view is inspired by an imaginary dude in the sky, your philosophy suddenly become sacred and untouchable (pun intended.) When your outlook on life lacks divine intervention, you’re on your own to prove that you’re not evil/stupid/satanist.
