“Answers” in Genesis

I was rather dismayed to read “Creationist museum challenges evolution”, from the BBC. Read the article and then come back here.
Pretty amazing huh? It almost seems that the creationist founder thinks creating a museum lends some validity or credibility to literal creationism. For some reason, it reminds me Homer Simpson saying “Good things don’t end in -eum, they end in -teria…..and -mania.” I can have at least some fleeting respect for the ID crowd - they at least attempt to wedge in or distort the geological/biological/astronomical/etc evidence. But this full on Young Earth creationism is just plain funny, and I truly hope there is never a public school class that visits this museum.
I won’t dissect the flaws in this theory here, as many have done so before, but Wikipedia covers Young Earth creationism, and it would be good place to start for anyone curious or unfamiliar with the flaws.
Hat tip to K for the link.
